Strong: reimagining customer communications in the UK
Strong: reimagining customer communications in the UK

Opus Trust Communications has rebranded as Adare SEC, taking the name and branding of the business it acquired last year, as it looks to "reimagine customer communications".

The new Adare SEC sees the coming together of five brands all previously within the Opus Trust Communications group: Opus Trust Communications; Adare SEC; Critiqom; DocCentrics and Kalamazoo.

All of these brands will now trade as Adare SEC but will continue to operate under their existing legal entities.

The move brings all colleagues together under one identity and means that all departments will operate across the business as a whole – reinforcing Adare SEC’s position as a single, industry-leading business with exceptional reach, know-how and capacity.

The Adare SEC master brand has been chosen for a number of key reasons:

  • The brand brings the Opus Trust Communications group companies together under one banner, affording greater clarity within the market – one name, one partner for communication excellence
  • The Adare SEC name is already established and highly respected within the field of omnichannel customer communications management
  • The Adare SEC branding is fresh, designed in 2021 and steered by a research-led process. This new branding has been extremely well received by both internal and external audiences

“Lots of hard work has gone into integrating our various businesses, resulting in a hugely successful Q1,” said Adare SEC chief executive Tony Strong.

“We also continue to invest in our business with further enclosing capability recently added to our Bellshill facility to keep up with demand. Bringing our expertise together under the Adare SEC brand banner is the next step, serving to illustrate our scale, operational resilience and depth of experience.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for private and public sector clients to identify us as the partner for customer communication management.”

Partnerships built on trust
“We work collaboratively with our clients and as a business we’re particularly proud of the longevity of many of our relationships. In the past year alone we have announced long-term contract extensions with high-calibre brands such as Allianz, Ipsos Mori, EQ, Severn Trent and Calor.

“Additionally, we have enjoyed significant new business wins with several new clients across sectors such as, utilities, insurance, financial services and public sector. Now, as Adare SEC, we are accelerating towards our vision - reimagining customer communications in the UK to drive further efficiency, agility, quality and integrity for our clients.”

The digital transformation experts
In addition to its years of experience in transactional communications management, Adare SEC is fast establishing itself as the go-to expert for digital transformation, delivering a number of time-critical projects for highly regulated clients.

The business was an early adopter of the industry leading Quadient digitalNOW interactive communications platform which powers the digital transformation of client communications. And this year, Adare SEC is proud to hold the presidency of the digitalNOW user group, which invites digital transformation practitioners from across the globe to collaborate and shape future developments in this fast-evolving field.

Depth of public sector expertise
Adare SEC also has a wealth of experience within the public sector and the business is trusted with the production of critical, highly secure communications such as revenues and benefits and electoral documentation, along with the volume of essential everyday communications that flow between local authorities and citizens.

The sector expertise that previously resided in Critiqom, Adare SEC and Opus Trust Communications now resides under the new Adare SEC brand banner and operates as a single public sector team, with the business’ highly secure production sites in Glasgow, Huddersfield and Leicester continuing to serve as important hubs for public sector work.

The business as a whole works with over 100 authorities across the UK, and this knowledge has recently been captured in a comprehensive communications management guide for the sector.

A sustainable future
As Adare SEC moves forward under its new brand banner it will do so with environmental and sustainability responsibilities to the fore. The business takes these responsibilities extremely seriously, a track record evidenced by the company’s recent EcoVadis Gold rating.

Further, as part of its new environmental, social and governance strategy, Adare SEC has joined the Science Based Targets initiative which contributes to the UN’s Race to Zero Global climate change agenda, committing to a 46% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

“Ultimately, the business will continue its impressive growth trajectory under the new brand banner. Behind the name Adare SEC lies a wealth of talent, experience and technological capacity which all serves one purpose – to improve the efficiency, quality, agility and integrity of business-critical customer communication," said Strong.

“The communication demands and expectations of customers and citizens continuously evolve. Adare SEC is with clients every step of the way on the transformative journey from legacy processes towards stand-out, bi-directional communications that deliver today and into the future.”
